  • The Regen Lab is focused on the study of cellular aging. We are exploring how Philippine biodiversity can help identify novel compounds that are capable of promoting tissue regeneration and preventing malignant tumor growth. We investigate why some cells no longer divide (cellular senescence), while others proliferate indefinitely (cancer and stem cells). We are committed to determine the mechanisms involved in cell senescence and how it relates to disease progression.
