Graduate Program Application deadline for 2nd semester 2017-2018 intake: 20 November 2017

Graduate Placement Exam (GPE) and interview of graduate applicants for 2nd Semester 2017-2018 (GPE at 8 am and interview in the afternoon): 27 November 2017

For MS in Biology applicants, the GPE will consist of 50 items in each of the following areas (total of 250 items): (1) Cell and Molecular Biology, (2) Ecology and Systematics, (3) Genetics, (4) Animal and Plant Physiology, and (5) Animal and Plant Developmental Biology. 

For PhD in Biology (straight and regular PhD) applicants, the GPE will consist of 50 items in each of six areas (total of 300 items): the five areas already mentioned and Microbiology. 

For MS in Microbiology applicants, the GPE will consist of 50 items in each of the following areas (total of 150 items): (1) Cell and Molecular Biology, (2) Genetics, and (3) Microbiology.
