Congratulations to Dr. Ernelea Cao for winning the 2016 Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Teacher Award. The Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Teacher Award for 2016 is given to two professors from the higher education level and four secondary and four elementary public school teachers. Member judges include Fortunato de la Peña [Department of Science and Technology (DOST) secretary], Roman Del Rosario [Court of Tax Appeals presiding justice], Hilario Davide III [Cebu Governor], Lalduhthla Ralte [Ambassador of India to the Philippines], Dr. Nilo Rosas [New Era University president], and John Nery [Inquirer.net editor-in-chief]. The judging panel was chaired by Senator Joel Villanueva and co-chaired by Congressman Romero S. Quimbo.

The Award Presentation Ceremony will be on September 5 as part of Metrobank’s 54th anniversary celebration.
