The next metabolic step after prednisolone uses a CYP enzyme in the liver that is also modulated by CBD. So the second step in metabolism of prednisone can be affected by CBD. However, the first step in the metabolism of prednisone should not be affected. And that's the important part. So in summary, CBD can be helpful especially for treating some of the side effects of prednisone and it should not cause any problem with liver metabolism.
