Fungal Laboratory Services

Fungal Laboratory Logo - Transparent

Our laboratory offers morphological and molecular identification of fungi. We do not handle microorganisms in Category A (organisms classified as infectious substances and are capable of causing permanent disability, life-threatening or fatal disease in healthy humans or animals. This includes samples isolated from humans and unhealthy animals).

Laboratory Services

Morphological Identification

Macro Specimen Analysis:

We observe notable features of fungal samples in their entirety and under a microscope. This includes examining the overall structure, color, texture, and other visible characteristics to provide a comprehensive understanding of the fungi’s macroscopic features.

Micro Specimen Analysis:

Colony morphology and microscopic features are carefully observed. We analyze structures such as hyphae, spores, and reproductive bodies to identify distinguishing characteristics unique to different fungal genera.
