Congratulations to Ms. Genevieve L. Serrano (BS Biology undergraduate 2017) for winning the Best Oral Paper Competition in the 46th PSM Convention.

Ms. Genevieve L. Serrano, BS Biology class of 2016, won the Best Paper Oral Competition (non-professional category) in the recently concluded 46th Annual Convention and Scientific Meeting of the Philippine Society for Microbiology, Inc. (PSM) at One Esplanade, Mall of Asia Complex, Pasay City last July 7, 2017, with her paper entitled “Prevalence, antibiogram and virulence profiles of uropathogenetic Escherichia coli from pregnant women of urinary tract infection. Ms. Serrano receiveda cash prize, certificate and trophy from PSM. Her adviser is Dr. Gil M. Penuliar of the Medical Microbiology Laboratory (MML).
