The Institute will hold a one-day research colloquium entitled “One UP Biology” with the theme “Research Collaboration Towards Sustainable National Development”. This colloquium will feature a series of lectures to be given by the research faculty of the Biology Departments of each UP Unit (Diliman, Manila, Los Banos, Baguio, Visayas, Cebu, and Mindanao) and the UP Natural History Museum.

This is in celebration of the Institute’s 33rd founding anniversary and will be held on January 28, 2019 at the Institute of Biology Auditorium, UP Diliman.

This activity will provide the opportunity for all the biology departments of the UP system to highlight their research and other accomplishments. It will also be an avenue to exchange innovative ideas, which can improve the units’ capability to do scientific research. Most of all, it will also help UP biology researchers establish and build meaningful research collaborations.
